It's also different in that it isn't monotone, but uses harmony, usually in four parts. <a href="http://home.golden.net/~malton/Choir/walmisley/acp56/walmis56.htm" rel="nofollow">Here</a>, for example, is a sample of another Walmisley Anglican Chant (not the one sung above). <br /><br />Gregorian Chant does not use harmony. There are 8 traditional tones (plus the tonus peregrinus), which you can find <a href="http://chantblog.blogspot.com/search/label/psalm%20tones" rel="nofollow">here</a>.
